Feeling Demotivated?
When I have feelings of demotivation, run down, frustrated, depressed, and cranky, it's because I didn't get the rest I need.
I know I don't have time to get the sleep I need. Right now there about 15 invoices I need to enter into QuickBooks. I have no idea how much money is in the bank because I haven't entered my deposits. There is never enough time! Ahhhhhhh!
The funny thing is, I'm writing this at 12:53 AM. Ha!
Since I realized that I truly need to get more sleep, and actually did get more sleep, I have noticed I am so much happier. My attitude is much more positive, and the feeling of being overwhelmed is a lot more subdued. Crazy, I know. Take care of your body and things work out. Maybe God knows what He is talking about.
"Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?"
Things will work out. You'll be able to get your things done, just like I'll be able to get to my bookwork. But if you're feeling run down, see if it's something you can change.
What things have you noticed getting better after getting more sleep? And then, go to bed!

Update: I listened to a podcast by Michael Hyatt about this same topic. His idea was more focused on being more productive by getting more sleep.
